Summary[]
Chakuro, Ouni, and Lykos arrive on the island Lykos. Lykos states that in the outside world that Ouni yearns for, soldiers without emotions, the apátheia, wage countless wars. After they return to the Mud Whale, Lykos and Chakuro view the flight of the Star Locusts. But afterward, the peaceful days of the Mud Whale come to an end. Soldiers aboard a small boat appear and begin to indiscriminately attack the inhabitants of the Mud Whale.
